Oliver Zeffman (TL 2011) is a leading British conductor known for innovative programming and a strong commitment to LGBTQ+ representation in classical music. Early in his career, he founded the Melos Sinfonia, directing the ensemble in international performances and Russian premieres of major works, including George Benjamin’s Written on Skin and Lessons in Love and Violence.
He has since collaborated with world‑class orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. His projects Eight Songs from Isolation, Live at the V&A, and Music x Museums highlight his talent for rethinking how audiences experience classical music.
