OCBS Medicine: AI in Medicine – Friend, or FOE?
This event has been postponed to February/March 2026 and more information will be released asap.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping medicine and healthcare worldwide - transforming diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. But with innovation comes responsibility and risk. How can AI be integrated safely, ethically, and effectively into healthcare systems?
Join us in the magnificent St Thomas’ Great Hall for an evening of insight and discussion. A panel of OC medics will share ideas on integrating AI into healthcare, explore barriers to adoption, and debate how to balance innovation with patient safety.
The evening begins at 5:30pm with drinks and networking, a chance to connect with fellow OCs and support future medics from Highgate and London Academy of Excellence, Tottenham. The panel discussion runs from 6:30–7:30pm, followed by an informal OC gathering at a nearby tavern.
This is a unique opportunity to engage with an important topic, meet old friends, and inspire the next generation of medical professionals.

Where: Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital: St Thomas' Hospital, Westminster Bridge Rd, London SE1 7EH
