OCBS Medicine: AI in Medicine – Friend, or FOE?

As application of AI expands across health systems around the world, this event will explore artificial intelligence in medicine and healthcare.

A panel of OC medics will share ideas of how to integrate AI into healthcare, as well as discussing the barriers to development and implementation in current healthcare systems. AI is already changing diagnosis, treatment, and care for patients, but with innovation comes responsibility and risk - potentially to life. Our panel and audience will discuss how AI can be used safely, ethically, and effectively to improve patient outcomes.

We look forward to seeing as many OCs as possible, held in the magnificent setting of St Thomas' Great Hall. The evening will begin at 5.30 pm, with drinks and an opportunity to network and support future medics from Highgate and London Academy of Excellence, Tottenham. A panel talk will take place from 6.30 to 7.30pm, followed by an OC gathering at a nearby tavern.

This is a great opportunity to support future medics, and to engage with fellow OCs on such an important topic.
