Billie Esplen’s (GH 2016) Sold Out Play

Last week, Billie, shared her journey of working in the film, TV and plays industry with School’s Senior School Pride Society.

Billie went to Oxford and studied English where she found her passion for script writing. Some of Billie’s experience includes working with the script team for series 4 of Killing Eve, a Script Editor for Miss Austen for Masterpiece/PBS, and a Script Editor for Sally Wainwright’s Renegade Nell.

Most recently, Billie worked on the show ‘Cowboys and Lesbians’ as their Script Writer. The show sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2023 and then transferred to the Park Theatre London in February 2024, followed by The Wardrobe Theatre in Bristol!
