Johannes Whittam (QG 2008)

Johannes Whittam, Board Member and Engineering Director at Mabey Hire, has been elected a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE). 

A Chartered Civil Engineer, Johannes has worked across a range of major projects during his career with COWI, Fika, and Mabey Hire. He credits the achievement to the support of his sponsors and the many colleagues he has collaborated with throughout his career. 

Reflecting on his work, Johannes highlighted that the most rewarding projects are often those with simple, elegant solutions that deliver meaningful impact. He also emphasised the importance of supporting the next generation of engineers and helping to shape a more sustainable and resilient future for the industry.
