Kira Rothwell (GH 2019) to Represent Trinidad and Tobago

Congratulations to Kira Rothwell who has been selected to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the CAC Games in the Dominican Republic this summer. 

Kira described the opportunity to compete for her father’s birthplace as “pretty special,” and credited the many people who have supported her journey. She also expressed her gratitude to Trinidad and Tobago Netball for the chance to perform on the international stage. 

The selection continues a proud family tradition, with her cousin, Axel Brown, having represented Trinidad and Tobago at the last two Winter Olympic Games. 

Kira also thanked England Netball for their support and development opportunities, noting she will continue to cheer on both nations at the Commonwealth Games.
