London Marathon 2025
Congratulations to OCs who took part in the London Marathon this past weekend! It is great to see so many in the Society raising money for charities.
A few of the OCs who took part were Hazel Kent (FG 2006) who was raising money to support Children with Cancer UK & Islington Legal Advice Centre, Darcy Wyn-Jones (FG 2022), Yiannis Ioannou (FG 1989) who fundraised for Little Village, Luca Trill (FG 2020) who ran in support of Samaritans, Will Cave (TL 2010) who was supporting St Joseph’s Hospice, and Joanna Rose (WG 2008) who raised money for the MSA Trust in memory of her mother.
For any OCs who took part in the London or Manchester Marathons and are not mentioned above, please do contact the OC team with photos and information about what you fundraised for, so we are able to share it with the Society! Email oc@highgateschool.org.uk or message Stuart Evans Old Cholmeleians on LinkedIn.

Looking to participate in a charitable event or train for an upcoming race? School will be hosting a 12hr run again this year for their Giving Day on the 17th June from 8am-8pm if any OCs would like to go and do some laps around Senior Field! They are fundraising for the Highgate Bursary Programme and their partnership school, The London Academy of Excellence, Tottenham (LAET) to ensure bright young people have access to transformational education. Running or walking will help unlock funds towards these two campaigns. For more information, you can contact their Giving Day Team at development@highgateschool.org.uk
