Maisie Laddie (SG 2017) Launches Debut Solo Photography Exhibition
Congratulations to Maisie on the launch of her debut solo photography exhibition, Tupendane, taking place on Saturday 6 September at Photobook Café, London.
Following 18 months of travel across multiple countries and communities, Maisie has curated a striking collection of photographs inspired by the people and places she encountered along the way.
Tupendane, meaning "let us love one another" in Swahili, is more than a title; it is the sentiment that inspired this body of work. Through these images, she invites visitors to embrace compassion, remain open to new perspectives, and find connection in unexpected places.
As this marks Maisie's first solo exhibition and an exciting step towards a new career in photography and travel storytelling, we are delighted to help share her work with the OC Society.

All profits from the exhibition will support the Tupendane Africa Foundation, founded by Maisie's friend, Rosaline Mushi. The charity works to tackle gender inequality, discrimination and poverty through education, vocational training, community development and advocacy.
