Netball Triumph & Vets Redemption

OC Netball

What a game! OC Netball went head-to-head with the Highbury Honey Badgers and came away with a nail-biting 17–15 win. Shoutout to the incredible Players of the Match, Ella Carmen (EG 2019) and Elena Binns (EG 2020), for their standout performances!

The excitement doesn’t stop there – their next match is coming up on 18 November against Nets Be Real, and they are ready to bring the energy.

Right now, they are sitting top of the table with 21 points, a goal difference of +82, and an amazing record of 8 wins from 9 matches.

OC Football

It was a mixed bag for Cholms this weekend, but the story of Sunday’s Vets triumph is one for the headlines!

Saturday’s Battles

1's vs Charterhouse

The 1’s fought hard but came up short in a 4–2 defeat. Goals from Theo Noble (SH 2018) and Oli Light (NG 2018), with assists from Oli and George Pugh (TL 2018), showed attacking promise. Plenty to build on for next week’s trip to Johnians.

2's vs Radleians

A tough day at the office for the 2s, who suffered a 9–1 loss to Radleians. Sometimes it’s best to draw a line under it and move on - eyes firmly on the next fixture.

Sunday Redemption: Vets vs KCS Wimbledon

The Vets produced a dominant display to break the club’s recent run of poor form, cruising to a 6–1 victory over KCS Wimbledon. John Addison (QG 1999) stole the show with four goals and two assists, while Dan Sherry (TL 2007) added a brace to seal the win. Assists also came from Luke Davey (EG 2006) and Chris Eliades (QG 1997), who chipped in with two. It was a complete team performance, but John’s heroics earned him a well-deserved Man of the Match. John was simply unstoppable and a true masterclass from the veteran striker!
