Netball Triumphs, Football Fights On

Our OC Netball team has had an impressive run over the past two weeks.  

On 25 November, they faced Netchix in a thrilling contest and came out on top with a 26–22 victory. Jada Jones (KG 2022) and Juliette De Freitas Vile (HG 2018) were named Players of the Match for their outstanding performances. 

The team continued their winning streak on 2 December in a scratch match, which didn’t affect the league standings but showcased their strength and teamwork. They secured a convincing 27–13 win, with Emma Frais (EG 2022), Lizzie Mills (SG 2021), and Eve Allison (SH 2018) earning Players of the Match honours. 

Looking ahead, the next fixture is on 9 December against 99 Problems – a match that promises to be another exciting challenge! 

Football  

It was a mixed weekend for our OC Football teams. The 1’s scheduled game was postponed, while the 2's faced Aldenham in a competitive clash. Despite a strong effort, they fell short in a 5–3 defeat. 

Both teams are now preparing for big fixtures this weekend. The 1’s will take on Repton, and the 2’s will travel to Aldenham for the JLC Cup.
