Poems into Choral Music

Tonight, Sarah Henderson (QG 2020) will have one of her choral works performed in the Trinity College Chapel, Cambridge by their choir. They have already performed two other choral works by Sarah, and this will be the premiere of the third. This work is called “A Wreath” and uses a setting of the poem by George Herbert.

As a Choral Scholar, cellist, and composer, Sarah has been busy with many different projects. One of her current ones is working with a peer to turn their poem into music. Sarah had worked with them in December to write a Christmas carol together called “Embers” and have upcoming plans to work with other peers in the same way.
