Upcoming Short Film

James Rodgers (HG 2017), Maxim Uys (GH 2017) and Anton Blaubach (KG 2018) have come together to develop a short film called ‘A Modest Agony’. It’s a project that they’ve been developing for a long time now and are super excited at the prospect of bringing together their individual passions for directing, screenwriting and acting to create a thought-provoking, powerful short film. For all three of them, this comes at an important juncture in their careers in the creative industries as they set out to consolidate their prior work and provide a proof of concept for future projects and employers.  

Anton Allende-Blaubach, their director, has been building masses of experience at a production company in London and completed his first short film as writer/director of 'Late' last year, which was selected for the London Director Awards.  To watch the trailer for ‘LATE’, the short film, click HERE

Maxim Ays, their lead actor, has been establishing himself as a mainstay in British Television on shows such as Doctor Who, Boarders and Sanditon. 

James Bryden Rodgers, their screenwriter and other lead actor, has just completed a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Cambridge and is currently acting professionally in theatre (Girlhood).

The three of them said School was a special place for all of them and played a massive part in inspiring the passion which is driving them forward in their careers.
