OCs vs Netchix Netball Match
The Netball OCs delivered a fantastic performance this weekend, securing a dominant 25–7 win over Netchix. The team played with energy and cohesion, maintaining control throughout all four quarters and converting turnovers with precision.
A huge well done to our Players of the Match: Ava Mulvihill (EG), Eve Allison (SH) and Ella Carmen (EG), each of whom played a key role in the victory through smart movement, accurate shooting and strong defensive pressure.
The team now looks ahead to their next matchup on the 31st, where they will face Super Handz in what promises to be another exciting contest.
Over on the football pitch, our 2s delivered a spirited performance on Saturday as they faced Albanians in a well‑fought contest that ended in a 2–2 draw.
The first OC goal came through Ben Turnill (EG 2022), who found the net with composure to bring the side level early on. The team continued to build momentum and Eddie Disley (TL 2017) added a second goal to put OCs in a strong position. Disley also provided the assist for Turnill’s opener, rounding off an excellent all‑round performance.
Between the posts, Adam Rose (GH 2012) delivered an outstanding display, making saves that kept the team firmly in the match. His reliability earned him Man of the Match.
Looking ahead, the 1s travel away to Charterhouse this coming weekend in what promises to be another exciting fixture. With just three matches left in the season, the teams are pushing to finish strong and carry their momentum into the final stretch.
