AI to Help Speech Disabilities

Last week, Matthew Kershaw (MG 1982) spoke at the United Nations as part of the Zero Project conference. Matthew shared the work D-ID is doing which helps the tens of millions of people with speech disabilities to communicate naturally and authentically. 

The goal of D-ID's work on this is to give back these people the ability to speak with others through their AI powered technology which can talk for them. D-ID has created a platform which generate AI video narratives and interactive experiences with digital people. 

Matthew and D-ID are working with other companies to provide this technology to the people who rely on it at no cost.
