Composer Andrew Beaton (SH 2003) Releases New Album

Andrew, an accomplished composer, producer, sound designer and mixer, has released a new album: Out of the Darkness, Into the Light, published through Frisson Music. The project showcases his exceptional range and command of cinematic orchestration.  

Andrew comments: "Out Of The Darkness, Into The Light is a genre-spanning album from dark, uneasy epic orchestral to mysterious and adventurous fantasy. This album champions cinematic strings and their ability to leave an unfaltering impact on the listener, whichever the genre or mood." 

The album has been expertly mastered by Dave Turner at 360 Mastering, with Andrew extending thanks to Karis Jones at Frisson Music for her collaboration on the release.  

Andrew’s body of work includes production music for a variety of media projects, featuring an eclectic mix of genres and collaborations that demonstrate his creative adaptability. He has also produced tracks featured on platforms such as Beatsource and Traxsource, showcasing his depth in electronic and experimental sound design. 

Andrew began his musical journey as an instrumentalist, exploring violin, saxophone, and guitar before evolving into a songwriter and recording artist. This diverse instrumental background continues to shape his multi‑layered, narrative-driven compositions.  

His new release not only demonstrates technical mastery, but also the imagination and ambition we love to see in the OC Society.
