First Season Fixtures for Fives and Football

OC Fives: 

The Fives season has now kicked off on the 2nd of September with some great first results. The OCs played the Old Salopians. 
 
Aroop Bhattacharya (KG 2012) and Oli Hallam (SH 2004) lost to Tom Cox and another Tom 1-2 (12-13, 11-13, 12-9, 8-11 (timed out)) 

Abs Bhattacharya (KG 2006) and Emily Scoones (GH 2009) beat Guy Williams and Jack Flowers 2-1 (12-3,12-1, 12-13, 4-7 (timed out)) 

Vatche Kassardjian (WG 1987) and Dex Davis (WG 2001) beat Marc Quinn and Hugh 2-1 (10-12, 12-2, 12-6, 7-4 (timed out)) 

The highlight of the fixture was seeing Dex returning to competitive OC fives and to have such a solid squad all round to beat a notoriously strong team to start the season. Their next Fixture will be Division 1 vs the Old Harrovians on the 16th of September. 

OC Football: 

Last week also saw both Cholmleian 1s and 2s Football first matches of the season! 

The 1s played against Alleyns with a brilliant win of 6-3! The goal scorers were Ben Miller (NG 2021) with 3 and then Theo Noble (SH 2018) with one goal. The main of the match was awarded to Ben Miller for the amazing offensive performance! 

The 2s had a more difficult battle against the Radleians and had a 4-2 loss. Thier goal scores were Ozair Satair (MG 2017) and Vinnie Cohen (GH 2022). 

This past weekend, Football had another great performance from both 1s and 2s. 

The 2s played against Albanians with a 6-0 win and had four goal scores. Ben Turnill (EG 2022) and Eddie Disley (TL 2017) both had 2 and Ethan Cantor (GH 2024) and Ozair Satar both scored one. The man of the match was given to Ben Turnill. 

The 1s also had a great win against Chigwell with a score of 5-1. George Pugh (TL 2018) contributed to 3 of those goals and Ben Miller contributing one. The man of the match was given to George.
