Flash Back Twose Garage

Featured in the Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, this image shows School's science department from December 22, 1939. Formerly known as Twose Garage, it was hired during School's evacuation and takeover of Westward Ho! in Devon. 

It was accompanied by the following caption: 

The Physics Laboratory has been set up in this loft and the master, if he takes one small step to the right, will give a personal demonstration of the law of gravity!
