The Caterer’s Food & Beverage Manager of the Year

Congratulations to Jack Cohn (FG 2005), the current Food & Beverage Director at The Ned, on being honoured as Food & Beverage Manager of the Year at the prestigious Hotel Cateys 2025, presented by The Caterer, a leading media brand for the UK hospitality sector.  

Since joining The Ned in 2018 as General Manager of Millie’s Lounge, Jack has steadily risen through the ranks to oversee the entire F&B operation, a remarkable 21-hour-a-day service across 12 restaurants and bars, serving over 18,000 guests weekly, along with room service and private events. Under his leadership, the Ned team, now 450-strong, has achieved exceptional employee engagement and a culture of internal promotion into senior roles. 

Jack’s people-first philosophy has fuelled numerous standout initiatives, including: 

  • High-profile chef residencies featuring talents like Helen Graham, Karan Gokani, and Ivan Orkin (whose ramen residency alone added 800 covers in just two months).  

  • A collaboration with Michelin-starred Interstellar BBQ from Texas, generating six-figure revenues.  

  • A record-breaking festive season with landmark events featuring Gareth Malone and themed member feasts.  

  • Support for charity causes through City Giving Day and StreetSmart, raising over £30,000 during the festive season.
