From Opera to Musical Theatre: A Memorable Debut for the OC Cabaret

On Tuesday 6 October, Old Cholmeleians, partners and friends gathered for a wonderful evening of entertainment at the inaugural OC Cabaret.

The event brought together members of the OC Society for an enjoyable and memorable evening of music, performance and conversation, providing a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni while celebrating the wealth of creative talent within the OC network.

Guests were treated to a varied programme of performances from:

  • Leandros Taliotis (WG 1993), baritone

  • Iestyn Morris (FG 1996), countertenor

  • John Addison (QG 1999), musical theatre

  • Charlotte Boundy (TL 2010), musical theatre

  • Claudia Pereira (HG 2023), vocalist and recent graduate of BIMM London

A special thank you goes to Ian MacGregor (EG 1984), who organised the event in his role as OCBS Creative Arts Sector Head and provided musical accompaniment throughout the evening.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. As the first event of its kind, the OC Cabaret showcased the strength of the OC Society and the diverse talents of its members. We hope this will be the first of many OC Cabaret evenings and look forward to welcoming even more OCs to future events.
