Major US Film Release

Marc Goldberg (NG 1995), Founder and CEO of Signature Entertainment and Aura Entertainment, is expanding his presence in the US film market. 

Aura Entertainment has acquired the U.S. rights to The Beast, an action thriller directed by Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger, Die Hard 2) and starring Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman. The film follows a U.S. President under attack during a coup attempt, who must use the advanced capabilities of the presidential limousine - known as “The Beast” - to fight his way to safety. 

The film is scheduled for a wide U.S. theatrical release later this year. Commenting on the acquisition, Marc described the project as “exactly the kind of film that gets audiences back into theatres.” 

The Beast forms part of Aura Entertainment’s growing slate, with the company aiming to release 10-15 titles annually as it continues to expand internationally.
