Opening Netball Win and Strong Football Performances

It was another busy week for OC sport, with netball opening their season with a victory and the football teams producing determined displays against strong opposition. 

⚽️Football 

1st XI 1-2 Tonbridge 

The 1st XI produced a spirited performance against a strong Tonbridge side but were ultimately edged out in a closely contested encounter. Despite their efforts and an equaliser from Tom Menzes, the visitors claimed all three points with a late winner.

2nd XI 2-2 Canfordians 

The 2nd XI battled back to secure a well-earned point against Canfordians in an entertaining match. Goals from Sammy Bouchebaba and Will Frais, combined with a determined team display, ensured the spoils were shared.

Winning Start to the New Season for Netball

OC Netball kicked off the new season in style with a 22-15 victory in their opening fixture against Nets Be Real. A strong all-round team performance laid the foundations for the win, with Ava Mulvihill (EG 2021) and Jada Jones (KG 2022) recognised as Players of the Match for their outstanding contributions.
