Robert Nisbet (WG 1986) announced as MediaStrong Keynote Speaker

We are delighted that Robert Nisbet (WG 1986) will be a keynote speaker at this year’s MediaStrong conference on Monday 13 July. This annual conference brings together leading journalists, media professionals and communications experts to share insights, experience and guidance with the next generation of media talent.  

Robert is a Partner at 5654 & Company, a corporate affairs agency working with charities, businesses and politicians. Before moving into corporate affairs, he enjoyed an award-winning career as a foreign and political correspondent for both the BBC and Sky News. 

His reporting took him around the world, covering major events including the aftermath of 9/11, the Haiti earthquake, the start of the Syrian civil war, terrorist attacks in France and Belgium, and the Brexit referendum. During his journalism career, he also interviewed world leaders including Barack Obama and Mikhail Gorbachev.
