The Use of AI in the Health Sector

AI is rapidly growing within every industry, and the health sector is no exception. 

Rohit Alimchandani (MG 1997) spoke at the Financial Times Global Pharma and Biotech Summit last week to discuss the impact of digital and AI on pharmaceuticals.  

Though AI is not a new topic, Rohit said that it has progressed rapidly since last year’s event and is starting to need a more strategic approach. Rohit spoke on the importance of hiring people with diverse skills, especially in arts or linguistics, as AI works best with precision and has a different perspective to inspect the world around us.
