Work and Life Skills

On Monday, Faith Donner (NG 2016), Alex Holderness (WG 2016), and Josie Finegold (SG 2017) joined School’s Careers Q&A Panel to speak with their Year 9 cohort on “Skills for Work and Life”. All three of them offered a unique and relatable perspective. Faith now works in Theatre Production, Alex is a Data Scientist, and Josie is training as a Solicitor.

They shared valuable insights into the skills pupils can develop now to prepare for the workplace of the future, highlighting the importance of making the most of the opportunities while they are at School — whether through joining a sports team, playing in an orchestra, participating in the CCF, performing in a drama production, volunteering via the DofE programme, or getting involved in clubs and societies.
