Richard Moross (QG 1991) gives Entrepreneurship talk
OCs were treated to a wonderfully engaging and fun evening. Enjoying superb hospitality in the central Soho offices of TIPi, courtesy of Ollie Bishop (SH 1995), we were enthralled and captivated by our keynote speaker Richard Moross (QG 1991).
Richard's talk was exceptional, with the general audience consensus that it 'hit exactly the right note'. Richard's frank and relaxed style highlighted the many challenges he and his business had faced, but also how to pivot, remain agile and what to prioritise: investors and time for himself. It was just what OC Entrepreneurs wanted to hear. As OC President and veteran businessman Richard Brewster (CH 1959) commented - 'it is often so tempting to speak of the things that went right, and as a result we learn very little'.
Aside from enjoying the opportunity to network and share advice, OCs also commented the following:
Jamie Worthington (FG 2011): “I’ve been to a lot of these events over the years and this has been one of the best. Was great to have things in common and get such specific advice and feedback from fellow OCs.”
Sophia Parvizi Wayne (WG 2015): “Thank you so much for hosting such a wonderful event last night- it was amazing to see such brilliant OCs in one space to now be better connected to them.”
Jodie Hayes (HG 2008): “Thanks for organising such a great OC event, it was great and lovely to connect with fellow OC’s and I am actually having coffee with one as we are in the same space and looking forward to discussing more.”
Jack Kreindler (SG 1987) : “There is real potential for this and the OCBS to grow into something big, the network is very strong.”
