A Girl’s Experience Growing Up

Last week, Amani Kohler (EG 2023) spoke on a panel at GFS’s 150th anniversary celebration which was held at House of Commons. GFS is a charity which works towards building girls up in their confidence, wellbeing, self-esteem, and resilience by providing fun opportunities for them to learn more about themselves while meeting new friends.

Representing Youth Sport Trust on the panel, Amani shared their research on a girl’s experience of growing up. Amani is a Youth Board Member at the Youth Sport Trust which is a charity finding new ways to improve children’s wellbeing through sport. She is also a student at the University of Leeds studying Politics, Philosophy, and Economics.
