Anthony Green RA (TL 1956) Remembered: A Taste of the Studio Archive

OCs and art enthusiasts alike will have the opportunity to celebrate the life and work of Anthony Green RA at A Taste of the Studio Archive, an exhibition at the Chris Beetles Gallery, Ryder Street, London, running from 15 September to 3 October 2026.

Anthony Green, who died on 14 February 2023 on the opening night of his final exhibition, was renowned for his distinctive artistic vision and larger-than-life personality. His passing left a significant void not only among family and friends but also within the contemporary art world.

Drawing from Green's carefully preserved studio archive, the exhibition showcases works spanning his long and successful career. Visitors will encounter the vibrant colours, inventive forms and deeply personal narratives that became his hallmark. Much of his work celebrated the enduring love for his wife, family and home, themes that resonated throughout his artistic life.

A cherished teacher, mentor and Royal Academician, Green inspired generations through both his art and his warmth. This exhibition offers a fitting tribute to an OC, inviting visitors to rediscover a remarkable artistic legacy through a collection filled with joy, creativity and affection.
