Super Surgeons

Shahnawaz Rasheed (HG 1985) and his team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust were showcased in Super Surgeons on Channel 4! 

In the programme, it highlights the challenges surgeons face and the stories they hear that inspire them to continue to push boundaries in medical science. A topic they cover is Shahnawaz’s work in surgeries done for colorectal cancer. Shahnawaz specializes in primary, locally advanced and recurrent colorectal cancer and is one of the only surgeons in the UK using the Da Vinci Xi surgical robot to perform colorectal cancer surgery. 

With the great work Shahnawaz and his team are doing, they have earned to be known as ‘Super Surgeons’!
