The Launch of Groundbreaking AI Platform at Cannes

Ilan Bass (MG 2000), a Marketing and Growth Leader in the creative technology sector, has unveiled a pioneering “rights-first” AI platform for filmmaking at the Cannes Lions Festival.

Developed with Hollywood guilds and major studios, the platform takes an assistive AI approach -using licensed human performances rather than generating new ones. Each output is fully copyrightable and built on consent, with strong backing from SAG-AFTRA and the wider creative community.

The system combines two tools. DeepEditor, which refines dialogue and reduces the need for reshoots, and TrueSync, which adapts films for global audiences while preserving the actor’s original performance.

The innovation not only supports artists but also improves production efficiency and audience reach, marking a significant step toward more ethical and sustainable use of AI in storytelling.
